This programme dealt with the fossil finding Orrorin tugenensis.
The finding consisted of 12 pieces of bone, discovered by a team led by the
French researchers Brigitte Senut and Martin Pickford towards the end of 2000,
and was thus described by the press as the “Millennium Man.” Although
the researchers maintain that this being walked on two legs, this claim has
not been fully accepted even by evolutionists.
